Charlie Clare set up Casting House in 2010.   Having worked for over 10 years in factual television he wanted to set up a casting company that specialised in the difficult job of finding great people to feature in factual and factual entertainment programming.

Charlie’s career started in the demanding world of daytime talk shows, before moving into Development and then becoming a Producer / Director.   He directed and produced the first episode of Don’t Tell the Bride, the BBC and international hit show, and was involved in defining the show’s structure.

Emma joined Casting House in 2012 for 6 weeks and has never been allowed to leave.   She is increasingly well known in production companies as she records a staggering number of skype interviews.   Emma enjoys the hardest of casting challenges and doesn't believe that anything is impossible.

Verity joined Casting House after receiving a 1st in creative media at Bath Spa University!   She manages our social media and makes sure that as many potential contributors as possible are aware of the shows that we are working on.    She spends much of her day posting our links on social media and is determined to beat the office record of clicks in a day...currently set by Emma at 998!

“Charlie and his team were asked to mine for carbon.
In fact, they unearthed Diamonds.
Casting House do more digging than a fleet of JCBs.”
— Seb Grant, Executive Producer, Fresh One

Casting House also employs experienced casting researchers on a freelance basis and has seen some of the best casting talent in the industry pass through its doors.
